As the sign says "Welcome to Israel" ... well, more to the point, welcome to my Israel web site. I actually live in Nova Scotia, Canada. My wife and I have been to Israel multiple times - twice with Christian tours (2008 and 2011) and in 2014 on our own for a vacation in Jerusalem, and she has been there on numerous other visits also, most recently in 2019.
From those trips, we have developed a fondness for the Land of Israel - the Holy Land - birthplace of Judaism and Christianity. I have accumulated many links to web sites that I have found interesting and I want to share these links with anyone who has a similar interest in Israel. You will find web sites, music, videos, some full length movies, articles of a political nature, information on visiting Israel, etc. - in short, a general variety of items. While the majority of links are directly related to Israel in some way, I have included a few that are indirectly related, i.e. Jewish (but not Israel), videos on Christianity (which began in Israel), etc. Just select a page from the menu above (but don't forget to check the rest of this page first!) I hope you will enjoy the items I have posted and will come back regularly.
If you are viewing this site, you obviously also have an interest in Israel. I'd like to hear from visitors (also it tells me I'm actually getting visitors) so if you'd like to contact me, please use the the Contact Me page.
So, what is "Weebly"? If you want an explanation for the odd sounding web site name click here.
I also invite you to visit my personal web site. I have a mixed variety of stuff there and I'm sure you will find something of interest. There are also pictures from our trips too!
Anywhere on this site you can usually click on a picture thumbnail to see a larger picture!

Bridges For Peace
Bridges for Peace is a Jerusalem-based Bible-believing Christian organization supporting Israel. They organized our second tour to Israel in 2011. We support Bridges For Peace and highly recommend this organization.
Click the title above (or here) to visit their web site. While there I would suggest you might like to read their publications "Dispatch From Jerusalem" and "Teaching Letter" (under the "Learn" menu.) You can read PDF copies on the web site or subscribe for print copies. You can also subscribe to their weekly news update emails. Bridges For Peace have offices in nine countries outside of Israel. (If you are in one of these countries, select your country from the drop down list.)
Please view the video below for a good presentation of the work that Bridges For Peace is doing in Israel. This video was produced for their 50th anniversary in 2014.

I also recommend these other excellent videos about some key areas of the work of Bridges For Peace - there are more (see below).
Click this link to view a web page at Bridges For Peace that lists all of their many programs to help the poor and needy of Israel (and there are many). Some are destitute, some just need a little help getting on their feet. If you feel moved to make a donation, please use the links there - you can choose the program that speaks to you, or just the "greatest need". The donation buttons will take you to a PayPal page (you do not need a PayPal account if you do not have one.)
Members of Christian churches are one of the larges sources of support for Bridges for Peace. If there is a Bridges for Peace representative in your area, they would be pleased to speak at your church or group. You can find a list of the Canadian Bridges For Peace representatives on the National Leadership page on the Bridges For Peace web site. Select the province to see your local representatives, or contact the national office.
